More compact than most frutescens cultivars, Thai Burapa is a practical option for temperate countries. The plants are attractive, particulaly once the chillies ripen, and are very successful in a 5 litre pot. Grown in the border the plants produce too much growth at the expense of fruit production.
A very popular Thai chilli with a typical frutescens flavour, and particularly good for drying. The slender chillies are filled with seeds.
